Turkish, Russian authors meet in central Turkey

KAYSERI (A.A) - 22.04.2011 - Turkish and Russian authors gathered together on Friday in a literature symposium in the central Turkish city of Kayseri.
The "Symposium on Turkish and Russian Literatures: Two Literatures, Single World" is organized by Kayseri's Erciyes University and contributions of Turkey's Culture & Tourism Ministry.
"We are pleased to see that Turkey is hosting a meeting on Russian literature," Albert Lihanov, the co-chairman of Russian Authors Association, said during the opening session of the symposium.
Lihanov said such a meeting should also be organized in Russia.
Authors, critics, translators and academicians are attending the two-day symposium.
