Turkish weapons manufacturer sells products to five continents

ANKARA (A.A) - March 4, 2012 - Turkey's weapons manufacturer MKEK has broken its record in sales in 2011. The company sold weapons to 29 countries ranging from Panama to the Philippines, and from Switzerland to the United States. MKEK earned a record amount of profits in 2011, a total of 165 million Turkish liras. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman were MKEK's top three buyers abroad.
