Under Patronage of the Crown Prince, the Governor of Riyadh Region Attends Ehsan Ceremony to Honor Benefactors of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, March 02, 2022, SPA -- Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, has attended the honorary ceremony which was organized by the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) to appreciate the giving and generosity of prominent philanthropists of Saudi Arabia. Addressing the event, which took place at Riyadh Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh on Monday, the Head of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, who is also Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Ihsan, thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for their support for Ehsan, including the application of the highest standards of governance and investing the advanced technologies in enhancing the charity system. He reported that the total donations received by Ehsan platform exceeded SAR 1.3m through 19 million donations, benefiting more than three million persons and covered more than 8200 donating social, educational health, housing, food, and relief chances. Then Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz honored the charity men and top donors of the platform and the organizing committee. In comments to mark the occasion, he extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their noble instructions to activate such humanitarian giving and generosity. --SPA
