Undersecretary for Political Affairs meets UK Ambassador

Manama, Apr.21 (BNA): Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received Batish Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond. He welcomed the British Ambassador, hailing the historical and distinct relations between the two countries, and its strength, in light of the mutual concern for its development in various fields. He also expressed his satisfaction with the positive outcomes of the meeting of the Bahrain-UK Joint Working Group, in serving common interest and joint aspiration. For his part, the British Ambassador expressed his country’s desire to promote cooperation and joint coordination with Bahrain in all fields, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The two sides also discussed a number of topics of common concern during the meeting.
