UNEP senior official arrives in Bahrain

Manama, May 19 (BNA): Acting Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Joyce Msuya, today arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of strategic visits to the Western Asia region aimed at holding high-level meetings with the UNEP partners to promote cooperation and signing agreements in support of sustainable development goals. Ms. Msuya was welcomed at Bahrain International Airport by Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE), Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Dainah, UNEP Regional Director Sami Demasi and a number of officials.
