UNIDO stages consultative meeting on entrepreneurship in health, wellness

Manama, Nov. 7 (BNA): President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today patronized a consultative meeting on entrepreneurship in the field of health and wellness. At the initiative of the United Nations Industrial Development and Technology Organization (UNIDO) the meeting was held with participation of concerned government bodies, civil societies, private sector and entrepreneurs. In his speech. SCH President highlighted the importance of teamwork in the institutional work. He expressed thanks to all of those who contributed to the success of the meeting, including the UN Investment and Technology Promotion Office for Industrial Development in Bahrain and Tamkeen. Health Minister Faeqa bit Saeed Al Saleh said promoting social healthcare is a top priority of the Health Ministry in line with the national health plan 2016-2025. The minister welcomed the UN Health and Wellness initiative which would contribute to encouraging investment in the same area and would also provide a scientific and training support.
