UNIDO's role praised

Manama, Apr. 3 (BNA): Advisor of HM the King for Economic Affairs, Dr. Hassan Abdullah Fakhro, today received the Director of United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO)'s Investment Promotion Programme, Dr. Hashem Hussain. Dr. Fakhro praised the UNIDO's role in supporting the national economy and its efforts in producing SME startups and young entrepreneurs worldwide through its adoption of Bahrain's model in this aspect in addition to introducing and supporting other associated programmes which will strengthen this sector and boost its contribution as the mainstay for economic growth in developing nations. Dr. Hussain presented an initial report about the international entrepreneurship forum2017 as well as current and future plans and programmes.
