Universal Children’s Day marked

Manama, Nov. 22(BNA): The Ministry of Interior today celebrated the Universal Children’s Day, which falls on November 20. Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa attended the ceremony under the theme “Our Children in Our Eyes”. Ministries and other relevant parties also took part in the event which is part of efforts to foster community partnership. Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources Brigadier Adel Amin addressed the ceremony which was coordinated with ministries, relevant parties and civil society institutions. The event which opened today at Dohat Arad will continue until Thursday and will open its doors from 8 AM till midday. It will then be held in Khalifa bin Salman Park in Hidd on November 24-26, from 4 PM till 8 PM.
