UoB President receives South Korean ambassador

Manama, Sept. 16 (BNA): President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Riyadh Yousef Hamza, received today at the university premises in Sakhir South Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Hye Kwan Chung. Dr. Hamza welcomed him and his accompanying delegation and discussed ways of boosting cooperation in educating the students and training them. He also reviewed with the South Korean ambassador the needed preparations to renew the memorandum of understanding between UoB and the South Korean embassy to continue the work of the King Sejong Institute for Korean Language Teaching at the university. It is to note that the University of Bahrain opened the institute in October, 2017 after signing a memorandum of understanding with the South Korean embassy in June 2017.
