U.S. ambassador defines Turkish-U.S. relations renewable

WASHINGTON (A.A) - U.S. Ambassador in Ankara Francis Ricciardone has said that the relations between Turkey and the United States were renewable. As Turkish Ambassador in Washington Namik Tan earlier mentioned; the relations between Turkey and the U.S. were strong, tough and important, and they are also renewable, noted Ricciardone who spoke at the 30th Annual Conference of American-Turkish Council in Washington on Monday. Commenting on Turkish-Israeli relations, Ricciardone said that Turkey and Israel were two important countries in the region for stability, democracy and prosperity. He recalled that the U.S. had strategic interests with both countries. He expressed hope that Turkey and Israel would be in dialogue and have friendship as well as share common values. Ricciardone also said that the U.S. was expecting the relations between Turkey and Armenia to get normalized.
