US cutting aid to Palestine, war against Palestinians
Tehran, Sept 9, IRNA – Palestine Foreign Ministry in a statement announced that US decision to freeze funding hospitals in the occupied Quds is regarded as passing red lines by US and start of war against the Palestinians.
According to ‘Sky New’, Palestinian Foreign Ministry referred to US act as starting a new round of war against Palestinian people.
This dangerous and unjustifiable move by US means passing all red lines and waging direct war on the Palestinian people, the statement reads.
US blind bias towards occupiers and its policies has led Donald Trump administration, to a moral and inhumane collapse that is unprecedented in history, it added.
Meanwhile, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in a statement said cutting the $200m in aid to Palestinians is an indication of US political and moral frustration.
'The United States is cutting more than $200 million in aid to the Palestinians,' Western media reported, quoting a US State Department statement as saying.
“We have undertaken a review of US assistance to the Palestinian Authority and in the West Bank and Gaza to ensure these funds are spent in accordance with US national interests and provide value to the U.S. taxpayer,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a Twitter message on Saturday night said, “Trump regime flip-flops are truly comical. One week, its talking point is that we are 'squandering' our resources abroad, the next week it’s that we’ve not financially supported the Palestinians enough.”
