Variable weather in upper Thailand

BANGKOK, Feb 20 (TNA) – The upper part of Thailand will experience variable weather from Feb 21-24, announced the Meteorological Department in its weather warning, issued today. The moderate high pressure system from China will cover the upper Northeast of Thailand while the hot weather occurs in the country. This weather condition will trigger thunderstorms with strong wind. People are advised to follow up weather updates. During the mentioned period, thundershowers with strong winds are forecast for the first few days. After that, the temperature will drop by 2-4 °C first in the Northeast. Other regions including Bangkok and surrounding provinces will start to decrease on the next day. People should stay away from unsecured billboards and large trees during the storm while farmers should beware of crop damage. (TNA)
