Works minister, Chinese ambassador discuss cooperation in agriculture and fisheries

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister, Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, held a virtual meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Anwar Habibullah. The minister reviewed with the ambassador cooperation in developing the fields of agriculture and fisheries and benefiting from the Chinese expertise. He praised the relations between the two countries and highlighted the role of the ambassador in strengthening them. The ambassador hailed Bahrain's progress in various fields and stressed China's keen interest in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation and its readiness to share its expertise to develop the agricultural and marine sectors in the Kingdom.
