World Tourism Conference To Be Held In Sabah, Malaysia End of November
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 (Bernama) -- The World Tourism Conference (WTC) 2022 aiming to provide an interdisciplinary platform championing thought leadership on tourism futures will be held at Malaysia’s state of Sabah end of this month.
The three-day conference themed ‘Tourism Futures Reimagined’ starting Nov 28 will be held at Sabah International Convention Centre, expecting to gather some 700 international and local participants.
The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) of Malaysia in its announcement said the conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform which champions thought leadership on tourism futures and strategies driving tourism’s recovery and resilience in a post-pandemic world.
“WTC will feature a line-up of world-renowned speakers in four sessions namely Decoding Tourism Futures, Discovering Niche Opportunities, Redefining Tourism Success and Rebuilding Tourism Resilience and Readiness,” it said.
WTC 2022 will be organised in partnership with the World Tourism Organisation and Sabah State Government.
