Yazidi spiritual leader hails Pope's historic visit, Bahrain Dialogue Forum

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): Spiritual leader of the Yazidi community in Iraq and the world, Chairman of the Yazidi Supreme Spiritual Council, Mir Hazim Tahsin Beg, has affirmed that the historic official visit of His Holiness Pope Francis, the Head of the Catholic Church, to the Kingdom of Bahrain and holding the “Bahrain Dialogue Forum: East and West for Human Coexistence", which concluded here today, are two major events, expressing deepest thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for inviting him to the key Forum. He said that the high-level participation in the Bahrain Dialogue Forum has provided an ideal opportunity to exchange views on peace, tolerance and rapprochement among the followers of all religions. He called on religious leaders all over the world to support peace and urge coexistence, expressing thanks and appreciation for hosting such an important forum that has drawn the attention of people all over the world.
