Health Minister receives Sri Lankan Ambassador

Manama, June 8 (BNA): Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health received Reethisri Wijeratne Mendis, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bahrain.   

The minister noted the depth of the ties between Bahrain and Sri Lanka as well as the cooperation and advancement in many sectors.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation.

The ambassador praised Bahrain’s effort to combat COVID-19 through implantation of high-level preventive and curative plans, in addition to granting free vaccination to all citizens and residents.

Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, expressed her gratitude to the ambassador and wished her success in her future diplomatic endeavors as well the advancing of cooperation between the two countries.
