HH The Amir of Qatar Holds Telephone Conversation With President Of Egypt

Doha, June 02 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held Friday a telephone conversation with HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. During the call, they discussed bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries and ways of enhancing these relations, in addition to latest regional and international developments, especially in Sudan. The two sides emphasized the need to consider the humanitarian aspects, facilitate the flow of aid to those affected by the fighting in Sudan, and spare civilians the war consequences. They also agreed to intensify joint coordination to provide support and assistance to the brotherly Sudanese people, and to mitigate the effects of the crisis, especially on Sudanese refugees, and for the concerned teams and committees in the two countries to start developing mechanisms and implementation plans to ensure that assistance reaches the deserving people of the brotherly Sudanese people.
