HM King confers Bahrain Order-First Class on UK Ambassador

Manama, July 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the outgoing British Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond, at the Al-Safriya Palace today.
 
HM the King reviewed with the Ambassador the solid relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint action between the two friendly countries, expressing pride in the distinguished long-standing ties and partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom across various fields.
 
HM King Hamad commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the UK Ambassador to strengthen and consolidate these deep-rooted relations, hailing the important role played by the UK on the international arena and its pivotal contributions to consolidating the pillars of security, stability and peace regionally and globally.
 
HM the King conferred the Order of Bahrain-First Class on the British Ambassador in recognition of his outstanding efforts to further consolidate bilateral ties.
 
The envoy expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for bestowing the Bahrain Order upon him, praising HM’s major role in strengthening the distinguished partnership and friendship between Bahrain and Britain.
