HM King receives heads of diplomatic missions

Manama, Mar. 24 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s Personal Representative, His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Bahrain, at the Al-Sakhir Palace today.
The heads of diplomatic missions conveyed to HM the King greetings from their countries’ leaders on the holy Month of Ramadan, wishing HM the King abundant health and happiness, as well as further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.
They hailed HM the King’s effort to further strengthen Bahrain’s relations and expand cooperation and fruitful work with their countries to achieve common goals and aspirations.
HM King Hamad welcomed the ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries and exchanged greetings with them on this blessed occasion, lauding strong historic relations binding Bahrain with their countries, and the advanced level they have reached in all fields.
HM the King commended the ambassadors’ efforts to further bolster cooperation between Bahrain and their countries to contribute to achieving common interests.
HM the King affirmed the Kingdom's firm approach of expanding its relations with various countries according to the principles of mutual trust, understanding and respect, as well as of extending bridges of cooperation, acquaintance and dialogue among cultures and civilisations.
HM King Hamad said that the holy Month of Ramadan reinforces the values of fraternity, solidarity and cohesion among all peoples, and emphasises the tolerant principles and teachings of the true Islamic religion.
