HM King receives HM Sultan of Brunei

Manama, June 11 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Sakhir Palace today His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, in the presence of Personal Representative of HM the King His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, President of the General Sports Authority, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen.

His Majesty the King and HM Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei reviewed strong historical relations and ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in various domains. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual concern.

HM the King praised the successful visit of HM Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei to the Kingdom of Bahrain, which will further consolidate bilateral ties. He commended the efforts of HM Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei in fostering bilateral relations at all levels.

HM the King underlined keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further strengthen relations of cooperation and friendship with Brunei Darussalam in order to achieve the aspirations of the leaderships of both countries and their peoples.

HM Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei expressed happiness about visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain and meeting HM the King. He thanked HM the King for the gracious welcome and hospitality, expressing keenness on perpetual development of bilateral relations.
