HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the Regional President for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa of Visa

Manama, Mar. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the Regional President for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa of Visa, Andrew Torre, at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of innovative banking services in promoting the competitiveness of the Kingdom’s banking and finance sector. Furthermore, His Royal Highness noted the sector’s contributions to the Kingdom’s wider development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness highlighted opportunities the Kingdom’s banking and finance sector presented to Bahraini citizens, emphasising the important role creativity and innovation play in furthering the sector’s efficiency and development.

For his part, Torre expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and noted HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minsiter’s commitment to furthering the Kingdom’s banking and finance sector. 

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and the Governor of Central Bank of Bahrain, HE Rasheed Mohamed Al Maraj, also attended the meeting.
