Indonesia's Communications Ministry Launches Aseanpedia E-Book

JAKARTA, April 11 (Bernama) -- As part of 2023 ASEAN Chairmanship’s activities, Indonesia has released the ASEANpedia e-book on Monday which can be accessed at https://s.id/aseanpedia.

According to the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, the e-book provides the public with complete information about ASEAN and its role as the centre of the world’s economic growth.

“The e-book is interesting because it informs ASEAN’s success both geo-economically and geopolitically in simple language,” its Public Communication director general Usman Kansong said.

The e-book serves as a reference for finding information about ASEAN and Indonesia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN this year with the theme, ‘ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth.’

It could also be a reference for the mass media in finding information about the entire series of ASEAN Chairmanship in 2023’s activities and the location of the ASEAN Summit meetings.

“The e-book is a living document, so that its contents, such as articles, infographics, and videos, will be updated according to the dynamics of implementing the agenda of activities,” Usman said.
