International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization in Rabat: Nostalgia For the Prophet's Life

Rabat, August 13 (QNA) - Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) hosted in its headquarters in Rabat, the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization to introduce the biography of the Prophet and the Islamic Civilization.
The exhibition is an opportunity to learn about the morals of the Prophet and the messages of Islam, such as mercy, justice, peace, tolerance, moderation and coexistence.
In an interview with Qatar News Agency (QNA), Director-General of ICESCO Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik said that there is no exhibition that embodied the noble biography of the Prophet like this exhibition, which was held under the patronage of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, in partnership between ICESCO, Muslim World League, and the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco.
He stressed that the exhibition, since its inauguration by the Crown Prince of Morocco Moulay Hassan, witnessed a large number of visitors due to its distinctive link and embodiment of the Prophet biography and life, stressing that he had not seen an exhibition similar to this one due to its beauty, perfection, and modernity.
He added that this exhibition addresses all age groups, as it connects with the old man who read about the Prophet in a manner different from what he was used to, while also reaching the young child who lives in a new virtual, digital world.
The Director-General of ICESCO pointed out that the delegation of this exhibition came from Medina to the city of Rabat, which was the capital of culture in the Islamic world in 2022, revealing that in late July 2023 the exhibition was visited by more than two million visitors, which he considered a large number compared to the international exhibitions.
Dr. Al Malik concluded that this exhibition serves the biography of the Prophet and embodies that wonderful example not only for the Islamic world, but for the whole world.
For his part, Director General of the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization-Rabat Branch- Tawfiq bin Ali Al Sharif said in a similar statement to Qatar News Agency, that the origin of the exhibition is in Medina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that its organization in Rabat, Morocco, comes as a culmination of the strategic partnership between ICESCO, Muslim World League, and the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco, as it is concerned with presenting the messages of Islam represented in justice, peace, mercy, tolerance, coexistence, and moderation, based on the Holy Quran, the Sunnah, and the Islamic history through the latest technologies that make the visitor live the dimensions of the biography of the Prophet and historical scenes and relics.
Dr. Ali Al Sharif explained that each of the exhibition halls is considered a self-contained museum, pointing out that the huge encyclopedias in the exhibition have been audited, verified, signed by more than a thousand scholars, viewed by more than 300 muftis, and there is no room for any doubt about the information provided.
He revealed that the exhibition includes more than 3 thousand pieces, as well as a huge encyclopedia about the family of the Prophet, Ahl al-Bayt, and descriptions of the Prophet by the Companions, in addition to the huge geography encyclopedia, which also displays for the first time every place, every mountain, every stone, every tree, every city and country visited by the Prophet.
He added that the exhibition/museum possesses the largest audited and verified cinema, which the visitor can see, in addition the Prophet's pulpit, which was made during his lifetime. This pulpit includes two checked and verified encyclopedias, that includes everything that was said on the pulpit, how it was made, and who the Prophet referred to.
He noted that afterward, there is the chamber of the Prophet's wife Aisha, and the visitor will have impressive moments in the exhibition about Moroccans connection to the Prophet, which is supervised by the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco.
This exhibition is the first touring edition of the Museums of the Prophets Biography, which enjoys special attention and care from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
It includes three main components: International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization, Panorama of the Prophets Chamber in the First Age, and the Exhibition on the attachment of Moroccans to the Noble Prophet, a symbol of love and loyalty, which is supervised by the Muhammadiyah Association of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco.
