Iran's freestyle wrestling team becomes Asia champion
Tehran, IRNA - Iranian freestylers claimed Asia championship after grabbing three gold and five silver medals at the 2023 Asian U-20 Wrestling Championships in Amman, Jordan.
Ali Abbas Rezaei in 70-kg, Mohammad Mobin Azimi in 92-kg, and Amir Ali Pouladi won three gold medals after defeating their rivals.
In the 57-kg, Ebrahim Khari, in 65-kg Ebrahim Elahi, in 74-kg Hossein Mohammad Aqaei, in 79-kg Farzad Safi Jahanshahi and in 86-kg Amir Hossein Alizadeh won silver medals.
And Iran's Abolfazl Babalou claimed a bronze medal in the 97kg.
