KSrelief Continues Providing Healthcare Services to Syrian Refugees in Lebanon
Akkar, Lebanon, September 29, 2023, SPA – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is continuing its project to improve healthcare services for Syrian refugees and the host community in the town of Bebnine in Lebanon's Akkar governorate.
During August, the Akkar Healthcare Center received 3,879 patients and provided 8,695 services through various departments including clinics, pharmacy, laboratory, nursing, and the community and mental-health program.
The percentage of males treated was 35% and females 65%, while the percentage of refugees constituted 70% and residents 30% of the total beneficiaries.
This assistance is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment, represented by KSrelief, to provide humanitarian aid to the needy Lebanese and Syrian refugee communities in all areas to alleviate their suffering during the current humanitarian crisis.
