Azerbaijani mugham trio performs at Al Kamandjati festival in Palestine

Hebron, April 15, AZERTAC An Azerbaijani mugham trio has given concerts as part of Al Kamandjati music festival in Palestine. Performances by soloist Kamila Nabiyeva, who was accompanied by Elshan Mansurov on tar and Alakbar Alakbarov on kamancha, brought applause from the audience each time they were on stage in the cities of Jenin, Hebron and Al Dahriya. The Azerbaijani trio was invited to the festival by its founder Ramzi Aburedwan, who first get acquainted with Azerbaijan`s folk music at Fes festival several years ago. Al Kamandjati festival will feature a very special musical and spiritual journey, travelling through cities, villages and refugee camps and ending in Jerusalem on April 23.
