"Born In Malaysia", Tribute To Malaysians Who Srtive For A Better Tomorrow
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13 (Bernama) -- To honour Malaysians who work hard to build a better tomorrow for themselves and their families, photographer Kenny Loh has produced a book titled, "Born In Malaysia".
The book is a special project in conjunction with the 50th Malaysia Day celebration.
"Born In Malaysia", takes readers on a pictorial journey from the kopitiams (coffeshops) of the urban centres to the longhouses in the heart of the rainforest.
The book's corporate supporter is the leading job site, Jobstreet.com.
Jobstreet.com chief executive officer, Mark Chang said in a statement that the book reminded Malaysians that there were many lessons they could learn from their forefathers about work ethics and displine.
"What matters most is that we rise to the challenges of the moment and do our part to contribute to out families which will ultimately yield a better tomorrow for our society and nation,"he said.
