Coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan reach 28,251

As of July 21, another 1,108 cases of coronavirus infection, including community - acquired pneumonia were identified in Kyrgyzstan, Head of the Public Health Department of the Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said a news briefing. Of these, 336 are laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 772 - clinical and epidemiologically confirmed cases of COVID-19. Thus, a total of 28,251 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the country, including 47 new cases among medical workers. Of these, 14,776 Kyrgyzstanis have recovered, among them 624 are medics. Also, Akmatova added 42 coronavirus and community-acquired pneumonia patients died in the republic over the last 24 hours, raising the total number of fatalities to 1,079.
