Kyrgyz citizens in Malaysia transferred money and oxygen concentrators to their homeland, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Migration Service reported Wednesday. "In connection with the current epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan, compatriots living in Malaysia have collected a sum of KGS 57 thousand (about $ 745) and transferred it to the Biz Barbyz People's Headquarters to counter the coronavirus," the report says. In addition, Aigul Akimaliyeva, the leader of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Malaysia and a member of the Presidential Council on Relations with Compatriots Abroad, helped residents of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast by handing over 2 oxygen concentrators to the local hospital.
