Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reach 9,358 with 511 new cases

Bishkek, July 10, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s COVID-19 cases reached 9,358 after 511 new cases were registered on Friday. Head of the public health care department of the country’s Health Ministry Ainura Akmatova said that among the newly infected 80 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 1,450 including 536 recoveries, she added. Akmatova said that 81 patients have been discharged from hospitals per day and in total 3,134 patients who were tested positive for COVID-19 had recovered from the disease since the outbreak of the virus. She also reported 6 new virus-related deaths, raising the total number of death toll to 122. Meanwhile, 643 people remained hospitalized, 24 patients are in intensive care. In addition, 5,459 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.
