Perlis Youth To Experience Life Of Muslim Community In Cambodia

KANGAR (Perlis, Malaysia), July 30 (Bernama) -- A total 40 youth volunteers from the Malaysian north state of Perlis will take part in an international volunteer and community service programme in Cambodia in October to experience the lives of a community in Kampung Spue. The six-day programme, organised by the Perlis Youth Council (MBNPs) with the cooperation of the Malaysian Youth Council, will start on Oct 23. MBNPs president Saiful Munir said the programme, among others, was aimed at fostering relations between youths from Perlis and the Muslim community in the village. Talking to Bernama, here, Sunday, he said, the volunteers would be picked from among thousands of member of MBNPs to take part in the mission which would focus on education.
