Syrian young man creates an interactive game for children inspired by heritage sites

1 November، 2022 Damascus, SANA- Young Farouk Sayes, a graduate of the Technical Institute of Antiquities and Museums in Damascus, designed an interactive children’s game inspired by the archaeological and heritage sites of Syria. The game that helps to build the Crac de Caballeros, considered one of the most important archaeological monuments in Syria, consists of numbered cardboard pieces to join them in a simple way according to an attached diagram. The goal of the game is to encourage children to think about how engineers (architecture and construction) work, and help them develop their thinking and mental simulation through the sense of touch, the game designer told SANA. He explained that the game will also include models of the triumphal arch and the tetrapylon of Palmyra.
