World nations in need of Islamic teachings: Iran President

Sari, IRNA – President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi has emphasized that today’s world is in need of everlasting and infinite treasures of Islamic teachings. On Wednesday, President Raisi made the remarks in a message to the International Congress of Strategies for the Expansion of Ghadir Culture and Promotion of Nahjul Balagha, noting that the Islamic tenets can really resolve problems of the contemporary era. In such a situation that humankind throughout the globe is thirsty for reality because of being subjected to fake media for several years, the international congress seems to be a proper opportunity to introduce the brilliant culture, which has its roots in the teachings of Ghadir (a gathering of Muslims to attend a sermon delivered by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad on March 16 632 CE in order to introduce Imam Ali [PBUH] as his successor) as well as the holy book of Nahjul Balagha (the best-known collection of sermons, letters, and sayings attributed to the first Shia Imam), the message said. Raisi went on to say that the congress is a kind of good tradition, which can pave the way for scrutinizing the moral, philosophical, social, cultural, and military teachings of the holy Imam. The International Congress of Strategies for the Expansion of Ghadir Culture and Promotion of Nahjul Balagha kicked off in Sari, the capital city of Mazandaran Province, northern Iran, in the presence of some Iranian and foreign audiences to discuss ways to promote the Islamic culture throughout the world.
