YALTA CONFERENCE MONUMENT INAUGURATED IN MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the 72th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War which is marked on May 9, a monument dedicated to the Yalta Conference of February, 1945 was inaugurated at Ikh Zasag International University. By the initiative of Member of Parliament N.Uchral, statues of Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States, Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Joseph Stalin, Premier of the Soviet Union have thus been sculpted, and sit by the second building complex of the international university now. The inauguration ceremony was attended by honorary guests including Members of Parliament N.Uchral, Ts.Tsogzolmaa and G.Munkhtsetseg, Deputy Minister of Defense T.Dulamdorj, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Otgonbayar, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar J.Batbayasgalan, officials from the Embassy of Russia and veterans.
