Malaysian Pilgrims Appreciate Makkah Route Initiative

Kuala Lumpur, May 29, 2023, SPA -- Malaysian pilgrims' travel procedures, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj rituals this year, 1444 AH, have been greatly facilitated by the Makkah Route Initiative.
Many expressed their appreciation for the initiative at KLIA, which they view as a great effort exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide the highest level of comfort and ease the burden of travel for the pilgrims.
The Makkah Route Initiative is one of the Saudi Ministry of Interior initiatives intending to serve pilgrims; it is part of the Pilgrim Experience Program of the Saudi Vision 2030.
Through the initiative, all travel procedures needed by pilgrims are finalized in their homeland, including having visas issued electronically, having passport procedures carried out at the airport of the country of departure and ensuring that travelers meet all health requirements.
It also includes coding and sorting baggage, according to the transportation and accommodation arrangements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering transportation to pilgrims to their places of residence in Makkah and Madinah, and having their baggage delivered to their accommodations.
