Malaysia's LIMA'23 Achieves 600 Exhibitors Target

KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2023 (LIMA'23) which will take place from May 23 to 27, has succeeded in achieving its 600 exhibitors target.

Muhammad Aqlan Pacleb, Executive Director of Alpine Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd which was appointed co-organiser of LIMA'23, said the area of ​​the exhibition hall has also been increased by 28 percent, thus showing the positive momentum of the biennial event so far.

He said the entire area of ​​the LIMA'23 exhibition hall was full and there were no more places.

"Our target to get 600 exhibiting companies has been achieved even though only 480 companies were involved before,," he said on Monday.

In addition, Muhammad Aqlan said the area of ​​the exhibition hall has exceeded the designated space and could not be expanded further.

In the meantime, Muhammad Aqlan said data from the Ministry of Transport also showed that LIMA'23 had about 40 per cent commercial involvement in the entire exhibition.

Meanwhile, Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Air Operations Commander Lt Gen Mohd Shahada Ismail said that through LIMA'23, RMAF will invite a total of 45 Air Force Commanders to discuss various issues including on regional security through the Air Chiefs Conference.

Apart from that, Mohd Shahada said this 16th edition of the exhibition will also feature four international aerobatic teams, namely the Jupiter team from the Indonesian Air Force, August 1st (Air Force of the People's Republic of China), Russian Knights (Russian Air Force) and Black Eagles (Republic of South Korea Air Force).
