Ministry of Endowments Says Early Childhood Tests of Sheikh Jassim Quran Contest to Kick off Saturday 

 

 

Doha, March 22 (QNA) - The examination phase of the early childhood branch (males and females) of the 28th session of the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Contest will kick off Saturday, Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs announced Wednesday. 

    The contesters, both nationals and residents, will compete in memorizing one of the last five sections of the Holy Quran.

      Male contesters will be tested in Imam Muhammad ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque as of 15:30. The residents will be examined March 25-28, while nationals on March 29-30. Females will be tested in Al Waab district as of 20:30 with residents being examined on March 25-27 and nationals on March 28-29. 

      The organizing committee of the competition said that the evaluation process would utilize an electronic system initiated by the Ministry's Information Systems Department several years ago. 

      Valuable financial prizes will be awarded for all winners of the competition branches, the committee said. (QNA)
