The number of tourists visiting Turkey on rise
ANKARA (A.A) - 25.02.2011 - The number of tourists visiting Turkey year-on-year in the first month of 2011 rose by 20 percent.
A statement on tourist numbers for January 2011 posted on the website of Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry on Friday said that Turkey attracted 975,723 tourists in January 2011.
Most of the visitors were from Germany in the mentioned period. Iranian, Georgian and Bulgarian tourists followed Germans.
