PM Discusses With The Qatari Ambassador Bilateral Relations And Ways Of Consolidating Them

Baghdad / NINA / The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, discussed today, Thursday, with the Qatari Ambassador, Khalid bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti, the relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to consolidate them.

 A statement by his media office stated that Al-Sudani received, today, Thursday morning, the Qatari ambassador, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.

 During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed the relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways of consolidating them.

 Al-Sudani appreciated, according to the statement, the efforts of the Qatari ambassador during the last period, pointing to the level of steady cooperation between Baghdad and Doha, which was achieved after the visit of the Emir of the State of Qatar to Iraq last month, and resulted in a set of memorandums of mutual understanding in a number of fields, foremost of which is cooperation in the field of gas, and Iraq’s keenness to continue joint work in a way that achieves the interests of the two countries and the prosperity of their peoples.”/ End
