‘Anti-Iran conference in Egypt meant to undermine Tehran-Cairo ties’

TEHRAN,Jan.15(MNA) – The director of Iran’s Interests Section in Cairo, Mojtaba Amani, said on Monday that an anti-Iran conference which was held in Egypt during Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Egypt was meant to undermine the relationship between the two countries. Salehi paid a visit to Egypt from January 9 to 11 and met with high-ranking Egyptian officials, including President Mohamed Morsi. Amani also said that Iran has officially stated its objection to the move.
