‘If Syrian system collapses, extremists will take power’

TEHRAN,Dec.15(MNA) - Iranian Ambassador to France Ali Ahani said that if the current Syrian system collapses, extremists will come to power in the country. Ambassador Ahani made the remarks in an interview with the French news analysis website Boulevard Voltaire published on Wednesday. Certain countries are trying to undermine the process of national dialogue in Syria, but talks between rival groups must be promoted so that the Syrian people can decide about their destiny, Ahani stated.
