‘Iran will attend Mecca summit to help foil plots against Muslims’

TEHRAN,Aug.12(MNA) – An official at the Presidential Office said on Saturday that Iran will attend an emergency Islamic summit in Mecca, which is scheduled to be held on August 14 and 15, to help foil plots that have been hatched against the Muslim world. Mohammad Reza Forqani said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran will attend the Mecca summit… to examine important issues facing the Muslim world, (help) promote unity, and (help) foil plots against the Muslim world.”
