‘NAM summit should discuss ways to force U.S. warships out of Persian Gulf’

TEHRAN,July 15(MNA) - Iranian MP Mohammad Hassan Asafari said that possible avenues to end the presence of U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf should be explored during the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Tehran on August 26-31. “In the summit, ways should be explored to force U.S. warships out of the Persian Gulf as legitimately demanded by the people in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region, and a statement should be issued in this regard,” Asafari told on Saturday.
