‘Nothing should undermine good relations between Iran and S. Arabia’

TEHRAN,July 14(MNA) – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Thursday that no issue should be allowed to negatively affect good relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia because the Iranian people love Hejaz, a region where the holy cities of Mecca and Medina are located. Larijani said, “There may be disagreements between the two countries, but it should not result in a chilly relationship between the nations. This is a special strategy of our country in regard to Saudi Arabia, which is due to the holiness of Hejaz.”
