‘Reformist Front to name presidential candidate soon’

TEHRAN,Sept.11(MNA) – The Reformist Front will announce its candidate for the 2013 presidential election in a month, the spokesman for the front told the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency on Monday. Majid Mohtashami, who is also the Freedom Party secretary general, said that the members of the Reformist Front will meet this week to hold consultations on the selection of the front’s candidate. He said former president Mohammad Khatami and former MP Mostafa Kavakebian are among possible candidates of the front in the presidential election.
