“Mongolian Day” business meeting runs in Australia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A business meeting called "Mongolian Day" took place last week in Perth, Australia. The action brought together some 70 delegates of over ten Australian companies such as the Aspire Mining, Minter Ellison, Xanadu Mines, Bayan Airag, Sustainability, R2R Services, BDO, Scope Systems, Maca Mining and Macmahon. They delivered reports and exchanged views on opportunities to make investments in Mongolia. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Australia Mr R.Bold addressed the gathered, highlighting that about 70% of total investments in Mongolia in the last twenty years have been made in conjunction with the Oyu tolgoi project. Those companies willing to make investments must study Mongolian features and characteristics, he said. As the organizers decided, revenue from the meeting will be donated to the UB-based "Lotus" children’s charity center.
