2009 presidential candidates can return to system if they repent: Iran`s Asgaroladi

TEHRAN,Dec.9(MNA) – Habibollah Asgaroladi, the secretary general of the Followers of Imam and Leadership Front said that the Islamic system will warmly welcome the controversial candidates of the 2009 presidential election if they repent. “I once said, ‘I do not regard the candidates of the (13)88 election as seditionists, and rather believe that they have been surrounded by seditionists’ because I wanted them to come to their senses and accept the fact that devils have created a distance between us and them. They will be met with the open arms of the Islamic Republic and the system… whenever they return, provided that they disapprove of the evil act of sowing discord among the people and keep a distance from devils, spearheaded by the United States,” Asgaroladi, who is also a member of the Islamic Coalition Party, said in Tehran on Saturday.
