21st Intˈl Persian Gulf Congress Opens March 5

Bandar Abbas, March 3, IRNA – The 21st International Persian Gulf Congress to be attended by First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi will be held here on March 5. Governor General of Hormuzgan province Ebrahim Azizi told a news meeting on the event that the three-day congress will seek to further introduce the strategic waterway and safeguard its name. Some 160 articles have been submitted to the secretariat of the event from Iran and abroad, of which 60 top works will be selected to be published in a book, he noted. Referring to the presence of 100 guests in the congress, Azizi added that some of them are from Iraq, Japan, Ukraine, Russia, Singapore and India./end
