2nd Round Of Talks Between Iran-Turkey Governor Generals Ends

Ankara, Nov 18, IRNA – The second round of the fourth meeting of Iran-Turkey border provinces governor generals ended in Agri and participants are to sign a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) on Sunday. The MoU will be signed by west Azerbaijan Governor General Vahid Jalalzadeh and Agri Governor General Takin Arsalan, on behalf of five Turkey's provinces. In the MoU, the two sides will underline necessity of expansion of cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, border shopping centers, transportation, customs and tourism. In the 2-day meeting, more than 100 businessmen from west and east Azerbaijan and Ardebil provinces as well as representatives from Turkey border provinces attended. Vice-President in International Affairs Ali Saeedlo will co-chair the meeting on Sunday with Turkey's Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz. The first meeting was held in December 2009, the second in January 2010 and the third was held in October 2010./end
