47 Iranian nationals kidnapped in Damascus

TEHRAN,Aug.5(MNA) – Forty-seven Iranian nationals were abducted while on a pilgrimage in the Syrian capital Damascus on Saturday, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry. The pilgrims were kidnapped by the terrorist groups linked to the Free Syrian Army on the Damascus airport road on their way to Sayyidah Zaynab Mosque, an unnamed Syrian official said. The Syrian security forces have identified the kidnappers and initiated efforts to release the kidnapped pilgrims.
